Forum on Career Fair

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and Fulbright Alumni Association of Cambodia to launch Major and Career fair on June 25-26 in Phnom Penh to show the basis knowledge in closing major and their careers. 

H.E. Em Sothy, Minister of Ministry of Education, Youth, and sport, said that major and career is important for students, because this fair can all scholarship alumina students come together to create an association in order to build an develop country in form of building capacity of human resource.

On other hand, the guide of direction and explanation on the major and subject for students could direct all high school students to continue study in undergraduate level in right place and the demand of the market, he added.

He stressed that the quality and effective of education is the major factor in develop country, because high quality and effective human resource can highly contribute in developing country.

Carol  Rodley, Ambassador of American Embassy, said that 50 students was sent to student exchange program in America every year. In the last three years, scholarship alumina students who come from exchange program and Fullbright program contribute many activities in develop country and community especially education sector.

She added that this fair will become meaningful for all high school students to get information on choosing major and subject in universities and their future career.

It is note that over 1500 students have participate in this fair in order to know how to choose major and subject for their study and find major for their career dream, also meet the demand of market.
