Franchise business is offering business opportunities to young entrepreneurs in the country which begin to set its roots in Cambodia and Franchise business is also in the context of young entrepreneur convention and fair Cambodia (YECC), H.E Cham Prasidh, Senior Minister and Minister Commerce said the opening of the 1st YECC on June 25 in Phnom Penh.
There are 50 overseas exhibitors displaying products in the exhibition held from 25-26 June, 90% of them are registered Franchisor from Malaysia and Retail Chain industries from others come together to create awareness and encourage young Cambodian to seize business opportunities and start their entrepreneurship with very minimum effort and hazard from readied and delicately designed business program by the Franchisors.
Franchise business will combine the young business talents that would transform into great business partnerships for the betterment of two countries, Minister said.
Minister call on Cambodian young to harvest franchise business to overcome the obstacles. “It will take a lot of hard work, planning and a good business plan, but I have faith in the young talents of Cambodia and I am confident that they have the ability and patience to deal with the challenges ahead of them and I believe young entrepreneurs from Malaysia will be able to provide them the needed consultations and guidance,” he added.
Franchise business is also a major business venture in the global context such as the great brands of McDonald, Seven-Eleven, Subway sandwiches and many more in which it is a huge business market that would open the door to tremendous amount of wealth.
Cambodia is supported with business-friendly policies built around the focus of improving domestic economy for the benefit of the people, he stressed.
It is note that young entrepreneurs and fair Cambodia held the first time in Cambodia. The event does not only open a progressive chapter in promoting business ideas and opportunities, but it is also elevate the bilateral relation between Cambodia and Malaysia while both governments continue to make positive effort in widening business platforms for young entrepreneurs to interact and explore new business ventures.
