Beeline Arena Opens its Doors

The brand new Beeline Arena in Phnom Penh officially opened its doors at its grand opening on Feb 4 with an audience of 1,500 in attendance.

The new facility that will be used for sports and entertainment events was inaugurated by Sok Chenda Sopea, General Secretary of the Council for the Development of Cambodia.

It is an initiative by the Banzai Company, which has a management arrangement with Beeline to operate the facility.

Located at Sangkat Chroy Changvar, Khan Russei Keo, the Beeline Arena was constructed at a width of 21 meters, a length of 36 meters and a height of 16 meters. The arena was built to international standards.

The Beeline Arena is a significant contribution to Phnom Penh’s overall infrastructure and will become a landmark for Cambodia and soon become one of the country’s national icons, said Gael Campan, General Director of Sotelco.

“The Beeline Arena will support the development of international sport events and foster the recognition and participation of Cambodian athletes and sport federations to more international competitions,” he said.
