Global Entrepreneurship week 2011 is very important to Cambodian entrepreneurship and pubic especially for young entrepreneurship to start up a business and expand business opportunity, H.E. Dith Tina, Under Secretary of State of Ministry of Commerce said at Global Entrepreneurship week Cambodia 2011 in Phnom Penh on November 14.
“The event is to promote Cambodia people especially young people to overcome the effort to become young entrepreneurs. It is also an opportunity for them to learn from successful young entrepreneurs as well as exchange experiences and knowledge to expand and create new business,” H.E. Dith Tina said.
He stressed that entrepreneurs is the important force for market economy which will contribute to active economy and development especially on the field of agriculture, industrial and commercial areas.
Entrepreneur is also strategy to gather Cambodian young to participate into employment opportunity and to eliminate unemployment rate in country.
Ken Chanthan, President of Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia and Chairman and CEO of KEN Group, said that Global Entrepreneurship week aiming to encourage Cambodia people especially young people to innovate idea and open their business to be self-employment. By 2015 as the year of ASEAN integration, Cambodian young entrepreneurs will have to try overcome obstacles and work on the ASEAN market competition.
